Common questions
Do I need a DNA test to use KindredDNA?
No. The dating app is completely free and fully usable without any DNA. Genetic compatibility is an optional Premium feature.
Do you store my DNA?
Never. Your raw genetic data stays with the accredited lab. We only ever receive a derived compatibility summary, which is encrypted and used solely for matching.
When does the genetic score show up?
Only when both you and the other person have a summary on file. Otherwise the app works as a normal dating app.
Can I delete my genetic data?
Yes, anytime, from Settings. Revoking consent immediately deletes your summary and turns off genetic matching.
